The other day I went to TGI for the first time in a very long time. When I walked in, the hostess did not acknowledge me as she was too busy chatting with her other co workers. I thought it was rude as the face of the company, the hostess should at least greet the guest. I didn't plan on eating there, so I walked straight to the bar to order take out. The bartender was very nice and attentive. I already knew what I wanted, so she took my order and placed it with the kitchen right away. It didn't even take long for my food to come out. And by the time I got home, my food was still warm.

I haven't been to a Fridays in a long time but I was impressed. I ordered the chicken skewers with jasmine rice and broccoli. It was delicious! I also ordered oreo dessert and a berry mojito. Nothing disappointed. The server however took a while to refill the drink until they were empty. He also did not return the credit card when he returned the receipt. We had to ask for it.

I honestly wish I could give this place negative stars! 1. My entrées came out before my appetizers, because she accidentally gave it to the wrong table? No apologies? 2. When My appetizers finally decided to come, they were cold, soggy, and tasteless! 3. My waitress was extremely rude. Slammed my receipt and gave me an attitude. 4. She gave me the wrong information about the specials for the night which I ended paying double the price. 5. The hosts slammed the door in my face. On top of all of that, I was there trying to celebrate my birthday??? So disappointing! NEVER IN MY LIFE WILL I EVER RETURN.

Can I write a review with out a star? Hmmm no I tried. So we arrived on a Thursday evening around 820ish. And I have to say for a Thursday it was decently full. The hostess tried to squeeze 6 of us in a small space next to a party of about 22 ppl. It was tight! As the 22 party table began to receive there food, about 3 mins after we sat, the waitress began to get annoyed and tell us that "this isn't gonna work" like we sat our selves in this impossible situation. Then they made us stand back up by the door as others are coming in and being sat with out a problem. I'll give them we are a party of 6. So we stood at the door for about 15 mins while all googling where else to go because it was very clear they A didn't know what they were doing, I will say they were about 7 empty long booths in what I'm guessing was a closed section, B just didn't care. Then we left with no one noticing. If they had said it's gonna be 15 or 20 mins from the outset we would not have had a problem. But to squeeze us in then say your gonna move us then leave us with no explication is unacceptable in my opinion. Poor service with an attitude. If your in to good food and poor service by all means this is a must. ;)

The good thing about going to a chain restaurant is that you know What to expect from the food. The bad thing is that the service is spotty. There are some server 101s that everyone should adhere to. Simple stuff like .....knowing what's on the menu or what the drink specials are. I shouldn't have to say I saw a special advertised in the bathroom and that's what I want but you have no idea what the specials are. Or if you see my glass is empty you bring me a refill. Or that I asked for Extra bacon on my burger and you tell me the piece and a half that I received was considered extra cause my burger didn't come with bacon. WTF. I wouldn't ask for extra is it didn't come with it. Ughhhhhh. To bad I have to tip or else that would be wrong.

Wish I could give 0 stars. They no longer have happy hour specials on Fridays after TWO SERVERS told us otherwise. Took only about an eternity to get service in the first place (seat yourself at the bar). My drink, Fresh Strawberry Mule (with a not so hot strawberry on the rim), was missing the sugar rim so they had to take it back and remake it. We arrived at 4pm, ordered our food and drinks at 4:17, received our drinks at 4:38....got our "warm" food at 4:50. Seemed microwaved. Never going back!

Customer service starts at the front door and they are absolutely rude. This is not the first time but it's the last time that I will spend my money at this location.

This review is definitely targeted towards this location, as I'm a fan of the Friday's franchise as a whole. The food here was on par with other locations, but the service was poor enough to keep me from returning. Every one of the staff was obviously not happy to be there, and they passed that attitude on to their customers. Myself and some others have noticed that this particular area around the New Castle/Wilmington area is somewhat of a "black hole" for chain restaurants and fast food joints. The locations here are across the board subpar, and this place follows that example.

This only the second time that I've come here, but I have a feeling that it may be my last. The food is good. It's Friday's, if you like Friday's food, you'll like the food here. However, the service here is not good. I came to order take-out this time because I remember waiting long periods for the waitress last time I dined in. The staff in front are just as bad. I walk in and had to grab someone's attention to figure out where to place a to-go order. They inform me that I order there in front and give me a menu. While I'm looking through the menu (in front, now I'm in the way of front door traffic), there are 2 employees and a manager laughing and giggling like school girls. I had to grab their attention again just to ask where the sides were on the menu. The girl points to the salad dressing options and then continues on with her conversation. Considering that was no help, I eventually find them and place my order. Once I do that, I had to ask where to pay for and pick up the food. She told me "You can leave and come back in 20 minutes. Your food should be done by then." Are you serious?! Not once was I offered to sit at the bar and wait or anything. I could go on for a while with this story, but the short version is that the wait staff needs a lot of work. The service is deplorable and I feel like this place is being run by teenagers.

I am shocked at the bad reviews. We were in DE for a lax tournament. We had over 40 people and the staff, manager, everyone were awesome. Food was good and it came out fast. They really were SO accommodating. We called about 2 hours before we got there so it was pretty late notice.....so good we just are there the next night, too. We are from Seattle, don't typically eat at chains and are used to good food (to give you some perspective).

Typical chain restaurant with a waitress that doesn't listen. I had the New York bacon and cheddar burger. Of course it came out wrong but I didn't complain. The burger was nothing special; just a typical burger you can get at any chain. I would save your money and try going to a locally owned restaurant where the staff care about what their customers want.

Service was slow. We waited at a table for 5 minutes before anyone acknowledged our existence. Our server was friendly. Food was standard fare. The servers stopped wearing flair :)

I frequent this Friday's location due to it's proximity to my place of employment. It is your standard American chain restaurant with the usual bar-food offerings along with a full menu. What really makes this location stand out for me is the bar staff--they are the reason I keep going back. I never sit in the dining room of this restaurant because most of the bar staff is so wonderful! My drink and meal orders are promptly handled and I am always treated very nicely. You don't even need to order alcohol to sit over there, which is great! The food is good, too. I've never ordered anything at Friday's that I didn't like. My boyfriend normally gets something from the Jack Daniel's menu which he is quite fond of, and I typically go for a burger or pasta. Their New York Cheddar and Bacon Burger is always good; it has a huge patty covered with cheese, crispy onion straws, crisp lettuce and all the other usual fixings. The Bruschetta Chicken Pasta is also pretty decent, it is a spaghetti dish topped with bruschetta, grilled chicken, and balsamic vinegar which makes for a savory combination. Sometimes the spaghetti is overcooked a little, but that doesn't happen too often. My only complaint is the service in the dining room. It really does suck in comparison to the service in the bar area. My boyfriend and I sat in the dining room once and waited nearly 20 minutes without anyone taking our drink orders. We just picked up our stuff and moved to a table in the bar!

Over time I have been to many locations but have not been back to any of them for several years so this is my first Friday's experience in a long time. Passing through the area I had the Strawberry Fields Salad and was really quite pleased with it. The service was good and the food for everyone at the table seemed to be excellent. Since it has been so long I cannot compare it to any other locations but one thing is for sure -- if you are passing through and need a quick bite of some familiar food this could be a great place to stop.

This place lives and dies by the quality of its service. The food is standard chain-restaurant fare; speaking in the general sense, it's better than eating at something like an Applebee's. And given its location, the clientele leaves something to be desired - you can tell that the waitstaff aren't used to being tipped properly, so many of them have stopped trying. Get an inattentive server, and you won't be able to get out the door quickly enough. But my wife and I have had the occasional server or bartender that makes the entire experience worthwhile; the last time we were at this location, in fact, the bartender was such a friendly, magnanimous, and helpful individual that we tipped him above and beyond the call of duty, and made sure we informed the manager on the way out of the excellent service we'd received. Even if you're in a fairly dire one-in-a-million chain restaurant, the moral is this: the right service can make your meal go down a whole lot easier. Please, guys, reward good service heartily, whether it's through generous tipping or gushing praise to the employee's superior or, hell, through Yelping - dining out would be a much more pleasant experience with guys like that one Friday's server at your disposal. Pity the rest of the staff didn't seem to be following his example.

This TGI Friday's is located in a strip mall (near Pathmark and Home Depot) along US-13 northbound. It may be I went to this restaurant during a slack period in the late afternoon but I received by far the best service I've ever gotten at any TGI Friday's. The server was knowledgeable about the menu and helped me with the TGI Friday's email coupons that I'd brought in. At various times during the meal, she came back and suggested little things she could do provide would make my meal better. All I ordered was an appetizer and a salad but I felt like I had received first-class treatment. Of course, I have no idea what this place is like when it is busy but it sure was great when the place wasn't packed.

I've often wondered if employers actually read these reviews and or, use it in a constructive manner to address certain issues? Maybe employee's read them and remember the incidents? But I'm pretty sure at this location, the management and the staff can't read, so I'm not all that concerned.. Not that I don't appreciate my server at the bar, looking to pick up his future baby mamma, just not while I'm waiting to pay him and leave...

During my most recent visit to this location my waiter seemed annoyed at the idea of serving my boyfriend and I. The only thing he ever physically put on our table were the drinks and the bill (which he brought out before we had even gotten our desserts). He was serving the tables around us and put all the plates for the area on a big tray. Instead of putting the tray on a stand and handing us our food (as is common practice in every restaurant EVER) he held the tray down for us and we had to fish our plates out of the pile. Ridiculous.
